CHS Inc. will expand its business in Eastern Europe through an acquisition, the agribusiness company said Tuesday.
By buying Agri Point Ltd., CHS said it will bolster its operations in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Serbia by adding 1.5 million to 2 million metric tons of corn, wheat, and barley. It described those countries as high growth areas.
