The Port of Long Beach announced upcoming dates for the public to meet and express their opinions about plans to replace the Gerald Desmond Bridge with a brand new design. The project will cost approximately $1.1 billion and provide about 5,000 jobs over four years of construction. Public comment sessions will be held:

6:00pm: Wednesday, February 17 – City Hall Council Chambers, 333 W. Ocean Blvd.

6:00pm: Wednesday, February 24 – Silverado Park, 1545 W. 31st Street
