Friday’s 8.9 magnitude earthquake off the eastern coast of Japan triggered a tsunami warning for Southern California. There has been minor interruption in Port operations as of Friday morning, and Port officials continue to monitor the situation in close cooperation with the U.S. Coast Guard and other government agencies.
