Haifa Port
Haifa port, one of Israel’s main maritime gateway and main hub ports in the eastern Mediterranean, announced last week that the port handled TEU 1,263,552in 2010, a record breaking figure in container handling.
The port expects 2011 to be another record breaking year due to the full integration of the Carmel terminal and the introduction of new port equipment.
Alongside operating the Carmel terminal, Haifa Port will complete the integration of an advanced Terminal operating System (TOS) at all Port’s container terminals and gates.
