Bunge Australia has officially moved into its Bunbury Western Australia, grain storage and export facility, with its first wheat shipment into Asia is expected to depart by mid-July.

The company started construction at Bunbury Port in May 2013 and is hoping to establish itself as a competitor to WA’s primary grain handler, Co-operative Bulk Handling (CBH).

Construction was completed at the Bunbury facility in early June and Bunge is preparing for its first export shipment.
