The LA County Federation of Labor has released the following invitation:

ILWU Local 13 longshoremen Marc Jurisic and James Monti will be at the LA County Fed to meet locked-out Quebec workers.

RSVP for LA Labor’s luncheon on Wednesday, Feb. 22

Corporate giant Rio Tinto locked-out 780 families at a huge aluminum smelter in Alma, Quebec, Canada.

“ILWU has a history with Rio Tinto. They locked out our members in Boron two years ago. Now they’ve locked out hundreds of workers in Quebec. We will be a part of any action to end the lock-out of Quebec families.”
