The first case in the EGT/longshore union labor dispute to come to trial ended with the acquittal of a union member.
A District Court jury on Monday found Shelly Ann Porter, 39, of Longview not guilty of fourth-degree assault against Gerry Gibson, manager of EGT.
The jury ruled that the evidence proved that Porter’s use of force against Gibson on July 22 was lawful.
