Peru’s private investment promotion agency ProInversión expects to award a tender to concession the General San Martín port in Pisco region by January, an official from the agency’s ports division told BNamericas.
The project involves the design, finance and construction of port modernization works including building two new berths and a 4ha storage yard, as well as installing a GPS system, dredging and purchasing new equipment.
