EGT Development temporarily shut down its $200 million grain terminal at the Port of Longview on Friday morning after union dock workers set up a picket line and blocked vehicles from entering the facility.
About 100 protesters from the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 21 gathered outside EGT’s gates around 6 a.m. and began holding signs and walking back and forth.
