Manila-based port operator International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) announced Thursday the launching of its logistics facility at the Terminal 6 of the Port of Portland in Oregon.
The logistics facility will complement the operations of the terminal by ICTSI Oregon, an ICTSI subsidiary leasing the container and breakbulk facility for 25 years starting in February.
ICTSI Chairman and President Enrique K. Razon said the logistics facility and the operation of Terminal 6 is the company’s way of helping the Philippines boost trade with the U.S.
