After nearly falling into negative territory in March, container volumes handled at the Port of Tacoma rose again in April, giving the port an unbroken string of seven consecutive months of month-over-month increases.
The port’s terminals last month handled a total of 112,908 container units up 5.2 percent from the 107,370 units it handled in April 2010.
