Danish shipping giant A.P. Moller-Maersk Group says European Commission investigators have made an unannounced inspection of its headquarters to establish whether the company has infringed competition rules in the liner shipping sector.
Copenhague-based Maersk said it is “fully” cooperating with the commission and that Tuesday’s raid “does not mean that the company has engaged in anticompetitive behavior.”
