Esperance Port in Western Australia
The Maritime Union Of Australia is hopeful a meeting with the national tribunal, Fair Work Australia, will resolve its ongoing stand-off with the Esperance Port.
The tribunal’s commissioner held a tele-conference with both parties yesterday and will travel to Esperance next week for further discussions.
The Assistant Secretary of the Maritime Union Of Australia, Will Tracy says tomorrow’s strike has been suspended, pending next week’s meeting.
