Larry St. Clair, who has worked both on the public and private side of the maritime industry for three decades, has been named the Port of Tacoma’s director of breakbulk business.

Prior to joining the port, St. Clair worked in a variety of marketing and business generation positions for the Port of Seattle, GATX Terminal Inc., CSX Corp., Sea-Land Service and P&O Containers.

The port is placing an increasing emphasis on reviving its breakbulk business after its containerized cargo volume dropped dramatically during the recession.
