Capt. Patrick Trapp
The Port of St. Helens has hired a new executive director, who will begin his tenure on Feb. 7, 2011.
Trapp is currently completing his assignment as chief of staff for the Coast Guard’s Fifth District, based in Portsmouth, Va. His long career with the Coast Guard has included assignments in the Pacific Northwest.
Trapp holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, as well as a Master of Science degree in homeland security and national defense.
