The new eco-containers are manufactured with non-wood composite flooring, called Eko-Flor. For several years now, the company has been implementing modern eco-conception techniques in order to mitigate the impact of container floorings on rainforest deforestation.

The new light steel containers are manufactured with highly resistant high tensile steel that allows a gain of 550kg per 40’ High Cube container, again reducing the energy used for transportation. The Group will be running tests for the next six months while the containers are deployed on the Asia-Europe lines.
