Maersk Distribution Services will be integrated into Damco, AP Moller-Maersk’s logistics arm. The distribution company delivers cross-docking, transload, warehousing and inland transportation services to customers from 18 facilities in the major ocean and rail gateways in North America.

Integrating with Damco will allow systematic integration between the international supply chain to US domestic distribution, and enables postponed decision making for final allocation of cargo.
