Office clerical workers and waterfront employers at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach said they would resume contract negotiations Wednesday.

The talks between the Office Clerical Unit of International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 63 were suspended for two days because Stephen Berry, the attorney representing 14 shipping lines and marine terminals, had to attend to another case.

OCU President John Fageaux said the union has copies of numerous emails that prove the contract is being violated.
