In this excellent video produced by the Maritime Union of Australia, dock workers from around the world support the Dublin Dockers. Their employer, Marine Terminals Limited, forced lay-offs on a quarter of the workforce and slashed wages by more than 200 Euros ($299 U.S. dollars) a week. ILWU International President Bob McEllrath is among the union leaders who spoke in support of the workers. He was joined in Dublin by ILWU International Vice President Ray Familathe and Herald Ugles, Puget Sound Area Chairman for the Coast Longshore Division.
