A grain shipping terminal developer is shopping around for sites in the Northwest and expressed some interest in the Port of Portland’s West Hayden Island property.
The project developers initially looked at a site at the Port of Tacoma and appear to be doing due diligence to check into competing sites, says Josh Thomas, media relations manager for the Port of Portland’s marine and industrial development efforts.
